Passover Relief Cards Give True Sense of Freedom

This Passover, Afikim was attuned to the needs of hundreds of impoverished Israeli families. As the numbers of low-income families in Israel were on the rise this year, Afikim had to adjust its Emergency Passover Relief Campaign.

Afikim distributed prepaid food cards to all of its designated needy families. The cards alleviated some of the financial pressures of purchasing basic necessities for Passover and enabled them to shop at local supermarkets.

The Afikim holiday food cards provided the families with both the dignity of the ability to do their own holiday shopping and gave them a taste of true freedom this Passover: freedom from poverty and hunger!
