Volunteering at one of the Afikim Centers will enhance your visit your to Israel as well as give you a tangible sense of the crucial work of Afikim. The children at Afikim just need to be shown that you care and the possibilities are endless…
- Help serve lunch or dinner for the children.
- Spend some time bonding with the children talking, playing games or sports, and interact with them.
- Join in on an arts and crafts project.
- Present gifts to the children or tell a story.
- Host a celebratory meal for a special occasion.
- Painting and gardening is available in some branches.
All options are not always available throughout the year and in all branches.
